RUNNING FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF VIRGINIA AS AN INDEPENDENT

It’s going to be a true challenge.

First, I’m going to ride across the commonwealth on horseback, visiting all communities and spread a Barry Goldwater-Ronald Reagan-type message of hope and renewal.

We need renewal. The utility companies must step up and invest in a much better product across the board, bury overhead power lines underground with the best fiber optics available in every community across the commonwealth. We’re paying for last century’s technology. We need to upgrade, and the utility companies need to get on the march as they did years ago in North Carolina.

My horseback ride will spread this message throughout Virginia ala George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

Second best is not acceptable. We are first and should be first.

My message to the commonwealth will support Christian conservative family values. By that, I mean love of God, love of family, love of community – all people regardless of race, color, or personal lifestyle.

That is not to say I run without a commitment and a message. I am a Christian conservative, no ifs ands or buts. Ask anyone who knows me. I’m a Barry Goldwater-Ronald Reagan conservative through and through.

I believe we need to do everything possible to uphold parents, children, and productive businesses of all types in our communities.

We need to be more vigilant in the struggle against drugs and drug criminals who are a scourge in our midst.  I announce war on these pests wherever they exist.

We need to do all we can to encourage productive business people and employees with whatever reduction of bureaucratic red tape and taxes we can accomplish.

We need to hold the utility companies and our public education bureaucracy to account.

I want an attorney general partner who will help move forward a pro-family, better public education, anti-drug, anti-crime program and hold the utility companies to account.

I will carry this message across Virginia.
