Okay, Barack admitted he smoked a few marijuana joints in college. Maybe he did more with heavier drugs.

I smoked some joints with Arizona Republic reporter April Daen in the 1970s, drank a lot of liquor in college, smoked cigarettes for 13 years but stopped cold-turkey in 1973, and slept with any girl who would let me.

So what’s the rap against Obama?

We know Bill Clinton drove around Arkansas as governor with Velcro in his pickup truck and had sex with any and every woman who would kiss his boy-toy. Except Paula Jones said she didn’t want to get on her knees and kiss it when he whipped it out and asked her to do so at the Excelsior Hotel in Little Rock. Lord knows what Bill Clinton did to please the ladies. Sounds like he just wanted them to please him. Maybe Gennifer Flowers has a different version. I’d like to hear it.

We know Hillary Clinton had a romance and brief sexual affair with her Rose Law Firm law partner Vincent W. Foster Jr. while she was first lady with Governor Bill Clinton of Arkansas, and ordered boxes of documents moved out of Foster’s deputy presidential counsel’s White House office after his body was found when he committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth at Fort Marcey Park off the George Washington Parkway near McLean, Virginia, on July 20, 1991.

Hillary’s action was obstruction of justice.

Her Rose Law Firm billing documents for legal work she did on the Whitewater Case Grande real estate development project for Seth Ward, Rose Law Firm managing partner Webster Hubbell’s father-in-law, were in Vincent Foster’s boxes of documents taken from Foster’s White House office and not turned over to state and federal courts despite subpoenas for more than at least two years –- clear jailable obstruction of justice by Hillary Clinton. Why was she allowed to get off? It was clear obstruction of justice. There were state and federal courty subpoenas ignored for two years. Why was she allowed to get off?

So Bill Clinton smoked pot in college and cheated on his wife.

On the Republican side, Mitt Romney, Michael Huckaby, Fred Thompson, John McCain, and all the fellow-travelers, what is their record on pot-smoking, other drug or alcohol use, and extra-marital affairs? We should know.

Let’s see a show of hands. Who smoked dope, who cheated on their wives, who did worse things -- please explain?

Let’s get it all out there, media.

I’m sick and tired of lazy politically-oriented media who pick on one candidate such as Barack Obama, chose him as an idol, but do not put their flashlights in the faces of all the other leading well-qualified candidates, some better-qualified candidates, in a similar way.

Come on. Be fair and honest. Ask the same questions of every candidate. Let’s know who used drugs or cheated with extra-marital affairs. Let's get all the baggage out in the open. That's our job as news reporters. No favorites. Just get the story out for the public.

Any question for one candidate, whether it be Barack Obama or anyone, should be asked of all and we should expect full answers from all. We deserve a complete and honest report, which starts with complete and honest reporting. Come on reporters of all news organizations: Do your job. Be honest. You owe it to your readers, listeners, and viewers. Don’t peddle your own political biases by skewing the news.
