THIS TAKES THE CAKE

English Bishop Anthony Priddis of the Anglican church in Hereford, England, has been ordered by a British court to pay a homosexual 42-year-old man about $98,000 for refusing him a job to work with church youth, where the homo could seduce and accost boys and girls. Bishop Priddis foresaw the impending problem after interviewing the homosexual applicant. The man acknowleged to the bishop that he was a sexual deviant, that he liked and practised oral and anal sex, probably thinking the prelate was like-minded and would sympathize with him, as so many in the church do and push sympathy for homosexuals and homosexual causes. But the bishop refused to hire the homosexual man as a youth pastor, understandably, because he reaalized the deviant man was an animal after prey, and that he would be putting his Christian family flock at risk if this deviant man was loose among them, an animal looking for sexual prey. What is this world coming to? Bishop Priddis did the right thing. The Telegraph in England reported the story. John Reaney, 42, self-proclaimed homosexual, applied to the Diocese of Hereford in England to be a youth minister. Bishop Priddis interviewed Reaney and after learning of his homosexuality and particular affection for teenage boys decided not to hire Reaney as a youth minister in the church. The queer brought a court lawsuit against Bishop Priddis and the Church of England. The case in the English court resulted in Bishop Priddis being required to undergo “equal opportunities training,” according to The Telegraph story. This is ridiculous. The court in England ordered the bishop and his diocese to pay Reaney fifty-thousand pounds, which amounts to about a hundred thousand American dollars “for refusing him a job because of his sexuality,” according to The Telegraph story. So homosexual preference trumps Biblical scripture and church leaders in hiring preferences? Where are we going? If any employer does not want to hire a queer who will stalk and try to have sex with adolescents, particularly a church, where does the government have the right to intervene and require the homosexual to be hired? What are we coming to? Bishop Anthony Priddis and his Anglican diocese in Hereford become hostage of John Reaney and his homosexual agenda because a secular court sides with Reaney. Did no one see Mel Gibson’s wonderful movie “Brave Heart”? No one has to put up with this attack on our religion, culture, and personal liberty. The Telegraph story took Reaney’s side totally. Here is the Telegraph report: “John Reaney, 42, had his appointment at the diocese of Hereford blocked by the Bishop of Hereford, the Right      Reverend Anthony Priddis, despite being told by his interviewers that he was the outstanding candidate for the post. “During a two-hour interview with Bishop Priddis, Mr. Reaney claimed he asked intrusive questions about his sexuality which had left him feeling embarrassed, upset and "a total waste of space". “He was so upset he broke down in tears on the way home. Three days later the bishop telephoned him to say his application had been unsuccessful. “He took the Hereford Diocesan Board of Finance to an employment tribunal and said today he was "delighted" with the payout. “He added: ‘Lesbian and gay Christians working within the Church of England are entitled to be treated with humanity.’ “Ben Summerskill, chief executive of the gay rights pressure group Stonewall, added: "We're delighted that the tribunal has sent such a robust signal, both to the bishop and other employers. "’The substantial level of compensation sends out a very clear message. Not even a bishop is above this law.’ “The comensation includes £25,000 for future loss of wages, £8,000 for future pension loss, £7,000 damages for psychiatric injury, £6,000 for injury to feelings, £1,320 for counselling and £25 for costs incurred seeking work. “The diocese's costs in fighting the case are expected to be around £50,000, but a spokesman said this was being met by an anonymous donor. “But the diocese will have to pay the £47,000 compensation award from its own funds. Mr. Reaney, from Colwyn Bay, North Wales, applied for the job in July 2006. “He had already worked in two Church of England dioceses where he had been praised for his achievements. “Giving evidence to the tribunal, Bishop Priddis said he had made it clear to Mr. Reaney that a person in a sexual relationship outside marriage, whether they were heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or transgender, would be turned down for the post. “He said that Mr Reaney's behaviour was contrary to official Church teaching and had "the potential to impact on the spiritual, moral and ethical leadership within the diocese". “Under the Employment Equality (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2003, it is illegal to discriminate against people as a result of their sexual orientation, but the law does contain an exemption for organised religion. “However, the tribunal ruled that he had acted unlawfully and had discriminated against Mr Reaney on the grounds of sexual orientation. “It said he should have considered only the present lifestyle of Mr. Reaney, who is single, and should not have speculated about potential future relationships. “Anni Holden, spokesman for the Diocese of Hereford, said: "We are now aware that when making such an appointment we must make it clear if it is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder should believe in and uphold the Christian belief and ideal of marriage, and that sexual relationships are confined to marriage. This is the crux of the matter, not sexual orientation. All of this is total bullshit. If a bishop of a Christian church does not want to hire a self-proclaimed homosexual youth minister applicant who might hit on our adolescent boys and girls, our children, the bishop should be applauded, even though the secular courts and liberal-left media side with the homosexual. Screw them. Are we not sick of the courts, secular government, hedonists, and liberal-left media who have taken over our culture and everything around us? A man who stands up, in this case Bishop Anthony Priddis of the Anglican church in Hereford, England, is to be applauded and thanked for standing up against the juggernaut that is steadily destroying our culture and historic heritage of Biblical and family values.
